Stimulus Payment Update

The IRS recently began issuing a second round of stimulus payments to those eligible. Unfortunately, the IRS has indicated millions of payments were sent to the wrong account because of an IRS error, and some taxpayers may not have received their payment.

We have been working tirelessly on a solution with the Treasury and the IRS. As a result, our expectation now is that within days the error will be corrected and stimulus payments will begin being deposited into the correct bank accounts.  This is made possible through the efforts of one of our financial institution providers, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.  For more information about what they are doing, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group Economic Impact Payment Statement.

We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and and we are pleased that our providers are able to get those payments to taxpayers.

We will keep you updated on our efforts, and we will continue to monitor what the IRS and our financial institution providers do.

For additional information about stimulus payments, including eligibility, payment timing and distribution details, the IRS urges people to visit Internal Revenue Service for the most up to date information.
